Ultrasound Technologist

Miramichi Regional Health Authority has a part time Medical Sonography Technologist position to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and related technical procedures.  The successful candidate will assist in coordinating ultrasound procedures with other diagnostic imaging procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must be a member of the Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

• Registered with ARDMS and/or CARDUP.

• Maintain registry status by obtaining the required thirty hours CME credits every three years.

• Demonstrate strong organizational skills.

• Demonstrate effective communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.

• Assess patient capabilities and limitations and adjust techniques as necessary.

• Good previous work and attendance record.
