Pharmacist Full Time

We have an opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our dedicated team of professionals at Miramichi Regional Health Authority’s 167-bed state-of-the-art acute care hospital. The successful applicant will contribute to the multidisciplinary approach to patient management.

 

 Responsibilities Include: 

• Application of the principles of pharmaceutical care to patients in medicine, surgery and pediatrics.

• Provision of drug information.

• Patient and health professional medication education.

• Provision of computerized drug distribution services including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition.

 Qualifications: 

• Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy and eligibility for licensure with the New Brunswick Pharmaceutical Society.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bilingualism would be considered an asset.
