All memorial donations requiring
an official income tax receipt will be made to the Miramichi Regional
Hospital Foundation. If you want to donate to a specific Miramichi
Hospital Department, please indicate on the subject line of your cheque and
we will ensure that your donation goes where intended.
Will MRHF send out cards in honor or in memory of an
individual?
Yes. When you make an in-memoriam donation at a funeral home, a portion of
the donation card is given directly to the family. If your donation is
received at the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation Office, acknowledgement
of your thoughtful donation is sent to the family.
When an in memory gift is made, is the amount
of the donation disclosed?
No. This information is kept strictly confidential unless otherwise
instructed by you.

are the donations used?
The
Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation raises money to assist the Miramichi
Hospital, including
its health centres, in the provision of quality care.
The purpose of the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation is to raise funds for the purchase of
equipment; construction projects for erection, extension, or alteration of
buildings; and provision of care for patients.
