Speech Language Pathologist
Horizon Health Network has an immediate opportunity for a temporary full time bilingual Speech Language Pathologist/SL-1 to provide rehabilitative services, within the scope of professional practice of Speech Language Pathology, to clients of the Corporation's Extra-Mural Program. As part of the Community Rehabilitation Pool, he/she may work with children, adults and/or seniors, in a variety of settings.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Be registered with the New Brunswick Association of Speech Language Pathologist and Audiologists.

Hold a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Have, or be prepared to obtain, current CPR training.

Physically able to perform the assigned duties.

Able and prepared to travel to patients' homes and other community service settings.

Effective in performing within a changing work environment.

Demonstrated adherence to legislation and Horizon Health Network Zone 7 Miramichi confidentiality policy to ensure all patient, business, financial and employee information is accessed on a need to know basis.

Written and spoken competence in English is required.

Patient Safety is a critical aspect of quality healthcare. Successful candidates must be accountable for creating a culture of safety, working as a team, communicating effectively and responding to adverse events.

Ability to attend work on a regular basis.

Ability to perform the duties of the position.

Good work record.
